Bus will leave from The Garage at times listed above and pick up at Tesco Roundabout Wardneuk, South Craig’s Roundabout, Kings Arms in Fenwick and if demand Charring Cross in Glasgow. Please advise your pickup location when booking. Please remember to contact me and cancel bookings if you have booked but seats but cannot attend due to change in circumstances.

Killie Comment

 

Season 2007-2008 has been disappointing for Killie with a down turn in performance that has resulted in the team sitting near the bottom of the league. The injuries have not helped but it is obvious our squad is now struggling to cope due to cuts in player budget which have resulted in the squad not being big enough and lacking quality in depth. There are huge concerns in the way the club is being run at board level and as the plan is to sell assets including best players and in the last year the Bungalow and Car Park have both been sold. At the same time no investment in the playing squad is making Jim Jeffries job impossible.

 

This asset stripping that cannot be sustained and focus should be on business development to increase income from the core business which is football by increasing attendance and ensuring Jim Jeffries receives the funds required to build a squad that can complete in the SPL. This can only happen if Michael Johnson addresses the problems and attracts new blood at senior level to run Kilmarnock FC properly.
